I cannot wait to see this series. I became a fan of Sid's when I saw the first episode of Da Vinci's Demons. Now, I re-watch all the episodes with him on DVR and looking into other projects he's done. I am sure it's going to be an amazing new series. Congrats!!

I read about this project a couple of months ago and I think it is getting the old Merlin time slot so that is a big deal for the BBC. Congratulations to all concerned.

This series sounds like it is taking real characters and adding more mythical elements to the narrative. It will be interesting to see how this works out in the long run

If the script is strong, the project is in the hands of a director who understands the subject matter and they cast some interesting actors then it could be a real treat.

I do not know who uploaded the show but the first two episodes were on youtube. It is worth tracking down and I am not sure if you will be able to buy the show on DVD. If it is eventually available to purchase and you have the income I think it is a wonderful buy as you will see more with every viewing. Siddig makes such a wonderful narrator.

Because Starz had a free weekend, I was able to watch Di Vinci's Demons. I may watch it on demand as the show continues. I don't know if I would have watched it if Sid wasn't in it though.

Yes! Sid would be great for this and his name has come up for years in the fandom. He doesn't even have to bulk up, the Red Viper is more lean and fast than muscular and slow. ALSO, Doran Martell is also an other option if they aged him up a bit, two very different roles but he could play either. But I would hope it is the VIPER because he will potentially have some of the best lines in the show!

Aaaaaaahhh! So nice to hear Sid's exquisite speaking voice again! I'll look for this to hopefully appear in the states, perhaps on BBC America? Please tell us if we'll get a chance to watch this here. I love nature shows, and Sid's narration will make it more fun 8^)
